The Mathematics of Total Reversal
When projecting forward from a live animal, we multiply by 0.35 because the final boneless meat is roughly 35% of the starting weight. To calculate backward from the final meat box to the live animal, we divide by 0.35, which creates the 2.857 multiplier.
